CircadiaOSCan Oura control my thermostat? Not on its own. Oura has no thermostat integration. CircadiaOS closes the loop: it reads your Oura sleep stages, HRV and temperature trend after each night, and uses them to refine the four-phase schedule it sends to your ecobee, Honeywell Home, Google Nest or Sensi thermostat before bed.
Your ring measures, then nothing happens
Every morning you get a readiness score and a sleep breakdown. Then you go to bed the same way tonight. The measurement never reaches the thermostat. CircadiaOS turns your Oura data into an overnight schedule, and on Premium runs a slow experiment on that schedule, one setpoint at a time, keeping only the changes your Oura data supports.
Three steps, about five minutes
- Connect Oura Ring. In the CircadiaOS app, choose Oura and authorize the connection. CircadiaOS reads your nightly sleep stages, heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate and skin temperature trend after each night is finalized.
- Connect your smart thermostat. Sign in to your ecobee, Honeywell Home, Google Nest or Sensi account and authorize once. Full list.
- Let it run. Tonight your thermostat follows a four-phase schedule built from your profile. On Premium, after 14 nights of calibration, CircadiaOS starts adjusting one setpoint at a time and holds each change for about a week, which is what Oura's signal quality allows.
What Oura gives CircadiaOS
Oura is one of the richer sources CircadiaOS can read. Sleep stages, HRV, resting heart rate, respiratory rate and the nightly skin temperature deviation all feed the Sleep Quality Index that grades each block of nights. Because the signal is strong, personalization blocks for Oura users are among the shortest, about 7 nights per change.

Can Oura control my thermostat?
Not by itself. Oura Ring measures sleep but has no way to act on it. CircadiaOS reads your Oura data and sets your smart thermostat's overnight schedule, refining it from your nights.
Does CircadiaOS read my Oura data?
Yes, with your permission, through a health-data aggregation service. It reads sleep stages, heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate and temperature trend after each night, and uses them only to run the service. It never shares them with advertisers.
Which thermostats are supported?
ecobee, Honeywell Home, Google Nest, Sensi and others through our integration partner. If you have a Wi-Fi smart thermostat, check the live list in the app.
Do I need an Oura membership?
You need your Oura Ring syncing to your Oura account. As long as the ring is connected and reporting nights, CircadiaOS can read them.
Does it change the temperature in real time based on my ring?
No. Oura delivers a night's data after you wake and sync, so CircadiaOS works between nights: it reads last night's data in the morning and sends tonight's schedule in the evening.
